Dual Team Rankings
North Carolina dual team rankings. Tap a team for its profile, or tap an H2H score to see that team's head-to-head adjustments.
How are dual rankings calculated? Help
- Full Strength: average RW Score of a team's top 11 wrestlers all season. Used to calculate H2H adjustments fairly, so injuries don't affect past wins.
- Active: average of the top 11 wrestlers who competed in the 21 days before the team's last event. This is the base for the final ranking.
- H2H: adjustments from dual results. Only upsets count: beating a higher-ranked team earns credit, losing to a lower-ranked team costs you, and both teams adjust.
- RW Score = Active Score + H2H Adjustment.
H2H adjustment formula
Adjustment = (higher score − lower score) ÷ 2, applied as credit to the upset winner and as a penalty to the loser.
Processing order
Teams are processed from the bottom of the Full Strength list up, so an early upset can change who counts as “higher-ranked” for later results. Rankings are recalculated daily during the season.
